VF Corporation announces appointment of interim president and CEO

Fashion conglomerate VF Corporation has announced its lead independent director of the VF board of directors, Benno Dorer, will be taking on the role of interim president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Richard Carucci, who also serves as a director of the board, has been named as interim chairman of the board.
The news comes as Steve Rendle announced his decision to retire as chairman, president and chief executive officer, after six years as CEO and nearly 25 years at the company.

The board of directors of fashion apparel retailer Express, Inc. has named Satish Mehta as a Class I director.
Mehta, 57, the company said in a statement, has a deep background in database engineering and a strong track record in technical leadership roles. He is currently the chief technology officer of pet food and pet-health related products retailer Chewy, Inc.
“Satish has rich experience driving the technological aspects of business growth and transformation across technologies,” said Mylle H. Mangum, chairman of the Board.
