    Back in 2019, the head of Mercedes Ola Källenius announced a commitment for a zero-emissions version of the G-Class line. Those promises have now materialized as parent Daimler AG files paperwork for the names "EQG580" and "EQG560". A hybrid version of the Mercedes-Benz luxury SUV will arrive first in the winter of 2022, followed by fully electric models in 2024 under the Mercedes-EQ brand.
