    Denzel Washington has officially confirmed that the third installment of The Equalizer series is currently in progress. In a recent interview with Collider , the actor revealed that the pieces are falling in order for the third film with director Antoine Fuqua agreeing to make a return to the franchise. Washington confirms, "They have written the third Equalizer , so I'm scheduled to do that. So I gotta get in shape and start beating people up again. I get to beat people up again.
